Martin Capital Management, LLP is an independent Registered Investment Advisor located in Elkhart, Indiana. Since 1987 we have been fulfilling the investment needs of high-net-worth individuals and institutions. Our $5 million minimum investment threshold enables us to maintain a high professional-to-client ratio so that we can provide the level of service our esteemed clients deserve. We currently manage more than $650 million for 115 clients.

Our investment philosophy is simple to explain but difficult to execute. We are dedicated to achieving superior returns by buying relatively few high-quality businesses at prices that afford us a margin of safety, then holding these businesses for the long term. History has proved that this is one of the most reliable approaches to preserving and growing real wealth, yet few can do it because it takes immense discipline, patience, and independence of thought. Our team of analysts performs thousands of hours of due diligence every year to uncover these investment opportunities.

We have built integrity into every aspect of our business. Our unique performance fee ensures that we win only if our clients win. Even more, our personal portfolios mirror those of our clients. In other words, “We eat our own cooking.” To be sure, such a policy doesn’t necessarily prove the soundness of our position, but it does demonstrate our sincerity.
